NOTICE OF VIRTUAL ANNUAL MEETING PREVIEW
On March 10, the AACR Board of Directors made the difficult decision, after careful consideration and comprehensive evaluation of currently available information related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, to terminate the AACR Annual Meeting 2020, originally scheduled for April 24-29 in San Diego, California. A rescheduled meeting is being planned for August; an official announcement of the dates and location will be made in the near future.
Beginning on Monday, April 27, the AACR will host a slate of online sessions featuring innovative presentations of proffered papers and invited content. The virtual meeting program will include clinical trial data from submitted abstracts as well as basic and translational science selected by the Annual Meeting Scientific Program Committee. Detailed information about the virtual program will be announced soon.
The AACR is aware that some conference registrants are being solicited by an unauthorized company trying to obtain credit card information by phone and email to secure housing accommodations at this conference. CMR (Convention Management Resources) is the official hotel management company for The AACR Annual Meeting. No other hotel management company or travel agency is authorized to place reservations on behalf of AACR. These companies have not entered into agreements with the San Diego hotels and are not able to guarantee rates and accommodations during the dates of the conference.
